This work honors is really about these very sacred Eagle Feathers. The Eagle feathers are photographed, a headdress in a modern museum mounted on a metal rod. Using the photograph I brought the Eagle feathers to the Sacred Elder in this painting. I call this a rescue painting. The details in the print are very amazing. I feel I have brought Life and Spirit back to this stolen sacred object sitting all alone in a modern museum.
